O Grupo Stellantis confirmou o lançamento da nova geração do Jeep Grand Cherokee no Brasil, na versão 4xe, híbrida.
No Brasil, o modelo é vendido desde 1994, representando o topo de gama da marca.
O Brasil teve as quatro primeiras gerações, e agora tem confirmada a quinta.
A nova geração mantém a capacidade 4x4, e o design característico, e novo projeto de interior e exterior.
A versão que chegará ao Brasil será a híbrida plug-in, utilizando a plataforma 4xe.
Very little information, and even then it's wrong. The platform is not “the 4xe platform”, because Stellantis doesn’t have that, but the “Giorgio” developed by Alfa Romeo.

The drive of this model is the same as that of the Jeep Wrangler 4xe, i.e. 2.0T (272HP) + 2 e-motors (181HP) with a total output of 380HP and 637Nm. The battery is 17.3kWh.
The special thing about this drive is that the mechanical all-wheel drive is always fully available in all modes, regardless of which engine is providing the power.
It is interesting that Jeep is selling this large and expensive model again, while others (e.g. VW Touareg) are no longer offered.
